The Updater application included on this disk updates versions 3.0.1 or 3.0.2 of the Canvas application to version 3.0.3. It cannot be used on versions earlier than 3.0.1 or on international versions of Canvas.
To update your external tools, drag the new tools into your Canvas Tools folder to replace the older ones.
To use the Updater:
Double-click the Canvas Updater icon.
The Updater title block will appear explaining how the application works. Read this information and click Continue to proceed with the update or click Quit to cancel the update.
If you click Continue, a directory dialog box will appear asking you to select a copy of Canvas to update.
Choose the copy of Canvas you want to update and click Open. Make sure you choose a copy that is not in use.
A thermometer dialog box will appear indicating that the copy of Canvas you chose is being updated. Click Cancel to cancel the update; otherwise the update will continue.
When the update is complete, a dialog box will appear notifying you that the update was successful and that the name of the updated application will be followed by ".upd". Click OK to close this dialog box. You can now use your updated version of Canvas.
